CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR TO MAKE SURE THESE DON’T INTERACT Wood lock (this hasn’t worked for me, but my husband swears by it) Biofreeze Voltaren Tiger Balm Lidocaine Cream (4% or higher, there are many brands) Use caution with lidocaine cream, too much can be toxic, use it for smaller areas like hypersensitve patches of skin not all over your body. Please refer to this article Dangers of Lidocaine Cream Scare tactics aside. I have used lidocaine cream on my hypersensitive spots with no side effects. I have used the 4% concentration. I tried the patches but they didn't really cover what I wanted to cover. After application I use compression garments to cover the areas I've applied it to so that it stays on my skin. The compression garments themselves also help to protect hypersensitive areas.
